This beautiful quilt was hand crafted by a grandmother of a childhood cancer survivor. The Katelyn Bedard Bone Marrow Association thanks Joanne Smulders for her generousity and support.
The Quilt of Hope is set in shades of green and brown with small bursts of colour, the body of this hand crafted quilt is machine pieced in a nine patch within a nine patch pattern. A hand appliquéd vine with one of a kind flowers graces the border of this stunning work of art.
This quilt was lovingly crafted and sewn with 100 % cotton fabric and 100 % polyester quilt batting. It measures approximately 82 inches by 96 inches.
Hundreds of hours have gone into this quilt.
